Karen Kay one of Joy Records' Artist.

Karen Kay singer and songwriter from El Paso, Texas, began her journey into the "music business" when she began writing Christian Music four years ago. Growing up in a Christian Home and with her mother Karen being an accomplished pianist, Karen Kay was surrounded by music all of her life. Although she is not professionally trained, she is self taught on the piano/keyboard and loves all styles of music. After she had written numerous songs, Karen Kay was encouraged by family and friends to record her first CD. She was lead to a local recording studio in her home town, "Joy Records", owned, founded, operated and owned by George Arriola.

Since that time she has completed four CD's, written well over 200 songs, and has just completed her first instrumental. Karen Kay began giving mini-concerts in the local churches and performed several times at the Family Christian Bookstore where her CD's are being sold. With George's extraordinary talent in arranging, she watches each one of her songs come to life. She strongly believes in the music God has given to her and is determined and driven to "spread" the music to those willing to receive it.

You will love her newest CD, "The Rock", containing some of her old songs, some new ones, a few of her favorite hymns, and a song George wrote, "Thank you for your Mercy", where T. Graham Brown lends his talented, unique and awesome vocals!

Exciting News For Karen Kay!

Karen Kay has two new CDs to be released in February 2006. The first one "The Rock" is her Christian CD which will contain mostly originals written and composed by Karen Kay and George Arriola. One of Nashville's Legend's, Mr. T. Graham Brown lends his vocals to a song written by George, "Thank You For Your Mercy". Listen for her single release to radio, "The Rock" written by Karen Kay. Her second CD "Here's My Heart" is her Country Debut CD, where again Mr. T. Graham lends his vocals on two of his songs! Listen for her single release to radio, "My Heart Isn't Broken" and "I'll Tell It Like It Used To Be". Also on this CD is the first Country Debut Song, "Addicted To Your Love", written by Karen Kay and George Arriola. The CDs will be distributed by Navarre Corp. and will be sold in retail stores such as Wal-Mart, Target, Circuit City and Best Buy.
